Before you request a quote
List the rooms and large items, then note both addresses, stairs, lifts and parking. Flag anything that needs special handling. Tell the mover if you need packing, storage or more than one stop.
Before moving day
Confirm the arrival window and contact person. Arrange building access and lift bookings. Label boxes by room and keep an inventory. Pack documents, medicine, chargers and a change of clothes separately so they stay with you.
At pickup and delivery
Walk through the plan with the crew. Record the condition of important items and keep your inventory handy. Before signing completion, review delivered items and note any concern using the process in your agreement.
