Book the building access
Ask the building manager about loading areas, service lifts, time windows and any protection required in shared spaces. Check both your old and new building. Share the confirmed plan with the mover.
Measure the awkward items
List furniture that may not fit through a lift or doorway. Provide dimensions and photographs. Agree on disassembly and reassembly before moving day; do not assume they are included.
Plan for changes
Give the mover a contact number for access problems. Ask how waiting time is charged if the lift or keys are not ready. Keep a small essentials bag with you so a delay does not leave you without what you need.
